    Rachel,

    Please consider the concepts discussed in the class so you can formulate these yourself.

    If you want to do some sort of pullback then you need to be checking price data versus some value with an offset of -7 ticks.

    Yes, you can place as many short and as many long signals as you want. Remember these are limited by the EntriesPerDirection and EntryHandling properties as you start up the strategy.

      Question about auto trading

      Hi,
      I was wondering is it possilbe in the auto trading to set it up, like you can with NT trailing stops:
      example:
      stop 17 tics
      10 ticks 1st targe, move stop to -7 ticks
      2nd target 30 tick, move stop to BE
      3rd target 51 ticks, now trailing 51 ticks
      100 ticks, stop moves to 17 ticks.

      Or is that not possible in the auto trading platform?

      Thank you,

      Rachel

        Rachel,

        Possible, but remember if you want to scale-out you need to scale-in first. You are introducing a lot of complexity with raising stops here and there and as such you will need to unlock your code to do this. Ok need some help

          I am trying to do this:
          Set 1. RSI left, MA right
          Action: User Variables -> Variable0 = 1

          (we didn't go over user varialbes during the on-line course. We got an attachment but I can't figure this out. Please give me step by step for the brown text.

          Set 2.
          Condition 1: Variable0 left. == middle. Misc -> Numeric value: 1 right.
          Condition 2: RSI left, another MA right
          Action: Do whatever you want. If you only want this to trigger once for each cross up you will then want to set Variable0 back to 0.

          Thank you,
          Rachel

            Hi Rachel,

            Please see this reference sample that I just put together for you guys discussing exactly this: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ad.php?t=15417

            There are 4 sets in that strategy. Please take a look at each set.

              Ok, I need some step by step instructions.

              I have been trying to create this:
              Set 1. RSI left, MA right
              Action: User Variables -> Variable0 = 1

              Set 2.
              Condition 1: Variable0 left. == middle. Misc -> Numeric value: 1 right.
              Condition 2: RSI left, another MA right
              Action: Do whatever you want. If you only want this to trigger once for each cross up you will then want to set Variable0 back to 0.

              __________________

              and having no success.

              This part I can create an image on my chart:

              Set 1. RSI left, MA right
              Action: User Variables -> Variable0 = 1

              __________________
              But when I create set 2. it does some weird stuff:

              I want to see a lower image on the lower Macd x down but instead I get 2 kinds of images:
              a green symbol and red symbol in not the right place on my chart for the lower Macd x down.

              So, if you could please right out, step by step what I am suppose to do, to get an image for a lower Macd x down, that would be helpful. I was trying to do it with RSI but thought, MACD sould be easier to get this.

              Thank you,

              Rachel

                Rachel,

                Not sure I follow. Please post a screenshot of what you have and what you want. Thank you.
