I am third party addon provider and have some questions about the best way to use the VendorLicense service.
Here is the scenario for the questions:
I have multiple products, each with their own 'ModuleName' in the Vendor Licensing database. For example product A and product B, each are indicators. Each of those use another indicator C.
1)
What moduleName does indicator C have to be tied to?
2)
Does it need it's own moduleName, like SharedTools? If so, doesn't this create a bunch more work when adding new users to the database (now I have to license them for Product A or B and also SharedTools)?
3)
Do you have any best practices for moduelName management?
4)
Does indicator C have to have multiple calls to VendorLicense(...) each using a different module Name?
5)
If we create an 'ALL' product where the customer chooses to license everything, what is the best way to create that in the database?
6)
Does each indicator have to have separate calls to VendorLicense() in it's for every possible moduleName it can be apart of?
Any suggestions, best practices or gotchas to watch out for are welcome.
