Nyse-liffe Market

I used to trade ZG in ECBOT, but it has moved to NYSE-LIFFE and I cannot find such market in Ninja!

Actually, please try this:
- go instrument manager
- edit the ZG
- 'misc' tab, change the mapping from 'ZG' to 'ZG|NYSELIFFE'
- press ok
- restart NT

I just tested in my end and got data.

MINI GOLD SILVER-NYSE - NO Charts on NT

No charts for mini gold and silver on NT

Tried resetting the instruements as indicated below in instruement manager, removed the old instruments in default list, replaced with new instruements for yg and yi, rebooted and no success. Checked the boxes for the NYSE-Liffe for both contracts.

Also repaired data base, and reset instruments under options/misc. before changing the instruement designation to NYSE-LIffe

Any suggestions appreciated.

Am also awaiting NT's timely response!

Dear Dierek,

I am using IB as a broker and there data feed.

I am not getting nearly the history I would like on the hourly charts.
Any assist there would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for clarification. Please proceed exactly as per my post below #3 below. It will resolve your issue.

Also, since you changed the instrument setup, perform this step before any of the steps in post #3: Tools->Options->Misc->Reset instruments

Can u assist with the history issue?
I can't get more then about 45 days of history on a 60 minute charte???

Any suggestions??

Using Interactive Brokers for a data feed.
have about 40 charts running.

Please post unrelated issues in a separate thread.

On your issue: could be the case that IB just does not provide more than 45 days of historical data for that particular instrument. I suggest clarifying with IB support.

YG, ZG data

I also have the same problem cannot get the YG, ZG data since they change from EBOT to Nyse-Liffe. I did follow all the instruction
1) reset the instructment db
2) change YG, ZG exhange to Liffe
3) restart

Still cannot get the update and i did see the update in IB.

Hello thaifans,

Could you please post screenshots of the Instrument Editor window that displays all parameters you setup for the ZG.

Go to Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight the ZG (available master instruments) and click Edit. Send screenshots of the Definition and Misc-tabs. Make sure the screenshot reflects all settings.

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
