Lag when clicking order entry SuperDOM

    You might look at your antivirus program. I use Avast, and for two days in a row it had a hung process which caused connections inside Ninja to be near unusable.

      Jason,

      I have no hidden workspaces open. I made sure to close all of them. I am only using two superdom windows and the control center window. I do not have any anti virus software on.

      There is still a bit of lag, although not as bad as it was...BUT the lag IS still there which is a problem.

          I posted a picture which shows what's going on.

          I have two superdoms open. I pressed the space bar on one of the doms and NT froze. You can see how the window with the yellow appears ghosted.

          NT does this often. Sometimes it does not ghost, but will just be very slow with the refresh rates.

            Hello Baseheadz,

            I see. This is as expected behavior as per the Dynamic SuperDOM; hitting the space bar functions the same as clicking the 'HOLD' button. More information can be found at the link below.

              This is NOT EXPECTED. The Ghosting is a LOCK UP in NT!!!!!!!

              When I clicked the space bar, the entire application locked up and I could not place an order.

              Just clarifying. This is not normal behaviour. Sorry if I didn't explain this better.

                Hello Baseheadz,

                I misinterpreted, the HOLD button will cause the price ladder of the Dynamic SuperDOM to freeze.

                How much RAM do you have available on your PC and what kind of processor are you running?

                  I have 8 gigs of ram, currently using only 3.1gigs of ram.

                  I have a 2.83ghz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, running windows Vista ultimate 64.

                    Please note, NinjaTrader is not supported on 64 bit operating systems as you can see at the link below.


                    It will be supported by NinjaTrader 7; its beta version is expected to be released the end of this quarter.
