Chart template vs. users text and drawing

Hi,
I use one chart properties settings for chart trading and another one for printing charts after each session.
What is the problem? When I am trading, I write a lot of text messages and draw a lot of trend lines etc. into chart. BUT - when I change chart template, all these text and drawing vanish.
I use dark chart background during trading, but I want to print screens using white background and sligthly different color of my trades marks. But I NEED ALL MY NOTES MADE IN CHART TOO.
What is solution for my problem? To change background color and marks color every time i want to print screen and back after printing is very uncomfortable.

Hello Lucinek,

Unfortunately you will need to redraw the objects after switching chart templates. They will not remain in the chart.

Or as you mentioned already, change the chart settings in the chart you applied the drawing objects.

That's a pity. I see no relation between these objects and chart template, so this NT's behavior is quite curious for me.
What about NT version 7, should be this case handled in this version? And any new gossip about relase date of NT v.7 ? Thx.

Hello Lucinek,

Drawing objects will remain on the chart upon switching chart templates in NinjaTrader 7.

Its beta version will be released during the second quarter of 2009.
