Have I connected to IB?

    Have I connected to IB?

    Hi, I set up my NT according to the video.

    When I start NT -> SuperDOM, I am still getting the "SIM101" account in "Account" box. In fact it's been greyed out.

    The question is have I successfully connected to IB and am able to place live order? Or am I missing something?

    Hello rt8080,

    Most likely you are using the NinjaTrader free license, which is limited to the NinjaTrader sim101 account. Only when you have a live license with our software you can trade external accounts, such as an IB demo or live account.

    If you are using a live license, please go to Control Center-->File and uncheck 'Global Simulation Mode'. You should now be able to select the IB account in all NinjaTrader order entry windows.
