SetStopLoss(CalculationMode.Ticks, 100);
So if I buy @ $13 a share it submits a $12 stop initially.
From here on the next bar update say 1 minute, it will adjust the stop to an indicator say ATR which after a minute it reads $12.50. This works fine, the problem is the way my broker IB executes using Smart Router.
On the initial fill say for 2000 shares I might get 20..100 share executions so I therefore have 20 100 share orders that update throughout the day= very unstable, sometimes I might have 15 out of the 20 get executed and the remaining 5 will cancel?
Is there a way to submit a protective stop that waits for the total quantity purchased, then submits? say it waits 15 seconds for all shares to accumulate?
Thanks
