MBTrading Instruments?

Hi,

I have the MBtrading link setup and I can connect and see the navigator panel which updates correctly.

However I cannot select / find currencies to chart (I know there is no historical data available)...

All I can find is:

How do I add the instruments such as EUR/USD so I can use market analyzer / charting?

Hello Burmo,

Thank you for your post.

1.) Open the Instrument Manager by going to Tools --> Instrument Manager.
2.) See this link for how to search for instruments such as EURUSD: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...struments.html
3.) Add the instrument to your default list using the < button.

You should now be able to bring up this instrument in a chart, SuperDOM, ect.

Hi,

That gives me the instrument but it does not update on the chart or on the other windows I do not see it linking to the datasource which is updating on its terminal.

Any ideas?

Just to confirm:

-You do have access to EURUSD data through MBT, correct?

Check the log in the Control Center for any errors that appear when you try to bring up a chart of $EURUSD.

Ninjatrader - How do I connect to MB Trading?

Hallo

I have similar problem.
I want to trade futures ( E-mini S&P 500 ).
I want integrate NinjaTrader with the MBT Navigator to mine MB Trading account to he will work with this platform.
I start MBT Navigator find ticker E mini S&P 500 (in MBT Navigator it be /ESM9) everything succeed.
Then start NinjaTrader connect to data from MB Trading and no such ticker in "Instrument Manager" I no have, not even have tab "Futures" only "Stock" and "Index".
Doesn't know somebody hint ????

Summary: In MBT Navigator have E mini S&P 500 (/ESM9) and in NinjaTrader no have E mini S&P 500 (only "Stock" and "Index)

Hi,

Can you start up NinjaTrader first and then connect, it will bring up your Navigator window automatically. Does that make a difference?

What happens when you open up a SuperDOM, do you have the Futures contracts available? Try checking this in the Static SuperDOM if you have it available under File--> New.

I want to trade futures ( E-mini S&P 500 ) and forex eurusd with mbtrading.
I have the same problem...
In Instrument Manager I no have, no even have tab "FUTURES"... Only CURRENCY and INDEX..

Can anyone help please?

Can you both verify with MBT that you are enabled to trade futures?

Also try Vince's suggestions as well.
