    Hi chonwayne,

    Thank you for your post.

To confirm, you receive no data for any instrument in the superDOM?

      Hello NT kyle,

Yes I can pull up a chart for $GBPUSD and its connecting live but when I want to put it on my static trading dome I only get my other trading instruments I use in the morning the YM, ES, NQ, and TF but no forex instraments.

      Thanks,

      ChonWayne

        Hello ChonWayne,

Unfortunately this is as expected; the Static SuperDOM only supports futures instruments.

          Hello NT Jason,

Thanks for the info. I think I read in another thread that Ninja is going fix some of the issuses for the Forex on the next upgrade.

I wish it happens soon I would really like to use Ninja to trade Forex because I have Ninja Trading dome and charts the way I like them, also I really don't want to relearn another trading platform and I like the way my charts are displayed compared to other trading platforms.

Hopefully Ninja can become a good trading platform for Forex so we can use it for Futures and Forex, Forex seems to have a big market out there that Ninja can capitalizes on. I notice that there is not that many brokers using Ninja for Forex as there trading platforms but maybe this can change if Ninja fix the issuses for Forex. The other platforms seem to be put together very poorly and this is where Ninja can shine especially at executing trades. Ninja has an excellent product with a good selection of indicators that I also really like.

          Thanks,

          ChonWayne

            Hello NinjaTrader,

Do you know if Ninjatrader 7.0 is going to be better geared to trade the Forex now?

Is there a section on the Ninjatrader 7.0 web site that might list any improvments on the up incoming NT 7.0 for Forex?

            Thanks,

            ChonWayne

                  Hello NT,

I was just looking at the Amp Forex website and it shows the Static trading dome working with Ninja Trader for Forex.

Here is the link: Just scroll down to the bottom of the page and it is there.

Why can't I get mine NT to list the currency pairs on the instrument selection so I can use the trading dome?

                  Thanks for your help,

                  Chon Wayne

                    Hello ChonWayne,

                    Thank you for your reply.

In the link you provided, the dynamic superDOM is being shown. (This is confirmed by the presence of the HOLD button which is not available in the static version of the DOM)

The dynamic DOM is the only version of the price ladder display which allows for currencies trading.

                      Thanks Kyle,

                      This is so cool.

No wonder my static dome did not work.

Thanks I just need to get use to the Dynamic dome.

                        Simming the Forex ?'s

                        Hello NT,

                        I have another question.

On simming the Forex why don't I get any P/L on the Summery.

Also how can I change the Pip value to show Mini like $1 dollar pips instead of $10 dollar pips.

I tried messing with the setting in the instrument manager for that but had no luck it still shows $10 pips on the dome.

Is there a why to correct that?

                        Thanks,

                        Chon Wayne

                          Hello ChonWayne,

                          Thank you for your reply.

1.) Are you referring to realized or unrealized PnL?

2.) Instruments will always display in full pip quantities. You can enter mini-lot orders (assuming your broker supports these) by entering an order quantity in a 0.0M format.

                            Hello Keyle,

Yes its realized or unrealized PnL no shows up up after a trade is completed.

Yes I believe that Amp Forex does do Mini size lots.

Where can I change the order sizes to 0.0M format?

                            Thanks,

                              Thank you for your reply.

1.) In the Control Center, click Tools > Options. In the general tab of the options menu, is Use Last Price for PnL Calculations checked? If not, please check this box, click OK and test (in simulation) again.

2.) You will enter this in the order quantity box of your order entry window. (just type the value in using that format.)
