Best Provider of Backtest data for NT
I want to hear peoples opinions of their preferences for use of historical data for Equities. I was using Opentick but they've gone bankrupt or whatever ...they aren't allowing clients to login. I find yahoo data is sporadic at best and really hit and miss if it even carries the stock. Has anyone tried the live backtest account with Barcharts.com and or Esignal to run their backtests for say min 3 months on 1 , 5 , 10 min tick data? Comments greatly appreciated. tks.Tags: None

I've been looking in to this as well. There is this site that has historical data in one minute for a long history and is the cheapest i've found http://www.grainmarketresearch.com/products.cfm But the best deal imo is openning a $2000 account with TDA cause then you get access to their historical data for free, but i dunno for how long in each time frame.
