Patsystems Historical Data Feed??
Im wondering if patsystems offers historical data. I kind of know they do b/c I can backtest, but when I load the chart in the middle of the day, the chart just feeds from that time only, nothing prior. This leaves huge gaps in the chart, making it impossible to trade for Me. Is this the way it is??Tags: None

Hello chatchgo,
Thank you for your post.
Patsystems only offers real time data and does not provide historical data.
I have provided a link below to the data providers supported by NinjaTrader. This page will go over the types of data they offer as well as the instruments they support.
You can however store real time data to your PC for future historical data requests by going to your Control Center->Tools->Options->Data tab->Enable Store real-time bar data
I have provided a link below to our Hep Guide that goes over this option.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.Christopher J.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Heres the messages
1) 5/20/2009 2:27:03 PM Default Unable to play sound file 'C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 6.5\sounds\Alert2.wav': Not found on hard drive.
2) 5/20/2009 1:55:44 PM Strategy Strategy 'ParSar' submitted an order that generated the following error 'OrderRejected'. Strategy has sent cancel requests, attempted to close the position and terminated itself.
3) 5/20/2009 1:55:35 PM Order Combination order type 'Stop' and time-in-force 'Day' not supported by exchange 'Nybot' Affected Order: Sell 1 Stop @ 493.6
I then had to promptly close out orders due to a wrong order generated. By the way, this works perfect in sim mode
