    no alert sound uninstall

    hello
    I nolonger have any sound coming from ninja trader
    eg no "order pending" "order cancelled"
    market analyzer has alerts but the sound wave does not play.
    Other apps playing sound okay.
    Tried reinstalling NT but it doesn't seem to do new install I did not have to install my indicators abd all my strategies are there so I am wondering how to uninstall if I have too before installing again

    Hello Freddo,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:
    1. Close all running applications.
    2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
    3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 6.5 and click Remove.
    4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 6.5" located under Start --> My Documents.
    5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
    6. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
    7. Reboot your machine.
    8. Once these steps are completed, download NT6.5 from the link below:
      Download
    Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

      I have followed all steps to uninstall and re-install and still NO SOUND!!
      Please help this is driving me crazy. My sound card is perfect and all other applications play sound on my computer

        Thank you for your post.

        If you open the C:\ > Program Files > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Sounds folder and double click on any of the files listed in the folder, does a sound play?

          yes i can play those sounds loud and clear!

            Are you receiving any error messages in pop-up windows or in the log tab of the Control Center?

              nothing in control centre and no pop-ups. it just stopped working all of a sudden with no error messages
