IB connection

I came in this morning and I am connected to IB and I have a number of stratgies turned on and ready on my strategies tab in my control center but nothing is happening. No orders have been sent and in the orders tab there is nothing pending.
HELP!!!!!

I have been adding in strategies from the chart on a couple stocks, does that disable the strategies tab?

No, the strategies previously started on the strategies tab should remain green and active in this case...do you see errors in the log tab? Did orders get rejected and therefore the strategies were terminated?

Nothing has been terminated. There are some orders that say had been "ignored" could I send you the log to [email protected] attn bertrand?

The only strategy that fired this morning was the one that I put directly on the chart. nothing in the stratgies tab entered any orders in at all.

ok I read over that link. I think I understand it. Is it saying that I can't have a stop loss in the market when I have a limit order out? That it will be a problem if I got filled on my stop loss before I was filled on my limit order?

Correct, with a working SetStopLoss the limit order to enter in the opposite direction would be ignored. I suggest you also check inot this tip - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=3627

The easiest way is to work then with a market order, as the rules don't apply to working with those.

the whole point of that rule is that I am using a limit order. Can I take the hard stop out until I get filled? Whats the best way to have a hard stop but entering on limit?

You could work with the Exit() methods to place your stop and then CancelOrder it to place your needed entry limit - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ncelOrder.html
