    Removing Custom BarCharts

    NT,

I am trying to remove a custom barchart and I am having problems.

I removed the custom cs file from the type directory. I deleted the default file from the workspace directory.

I have recompiled NT several times.

I rebooted NT as well as the PC. The chart is still there in the format dataseries dropdown and can be accessed and loaded to a chart screen.

How is this possible??? The file isn't there anymore.

Under a prior version, this wasn't a problem.

How do I make NT update to the new configuration?

    Thanks,

    RJay

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

Try going to File --> Utilities --> Remove NinjaScript Assembly.

Checked Ninjascript assemblies and all .dll assemblies are accounted for.

      There is nothing to delete.

The problem is that NT is not updating after removal of .cs file from the Type directory.

How do I make this happen?

        RJay,

Please do not manually manipulate any files in the My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5 directory unless prompted for such an operation by NinjaTrader support.

Now, please shutdown NT and then try removing ALL files in the workspace folders as well as ALL files in the templates\Chart folder. Then ensure you have no custom files at all in the bin\Custom\Type folder. Any file without a @ prefix should be removed. As you restart NinjaTrader, open up any NinjaScript file and press F5 to compile. Right click in the NinjaScript editor -> References and ensure there are no custom references here either.

          NT,

Instructions in prior posts were of no help.

I finally put all the pieces together. I can now force NT to dump and reload its configuration database.

I can now access my custom BarCharts.
