With hyphen "-", no Import Stock Symbols

    Ninjatrader: 6.5.1000.10
    Connection: Yahoo.com

When I add a symbol in Windows "Import Stock Symbols" that has a hyphen "-" (Control Center"/"File"/"Utilities"/"Import Stock Symbols") I get an import error.
    E.g. with symbol HM-B.ST , i.e. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=HM-B.ST
    "
The following symbols(s) are either invalid or Your import file is not formatted correctly. Please correct the problem retry.
    HM-B.ST
    "

Any other symbol without a hyphen works fine....
In stockmarket .ST there's loads of symbols that has a hyphen which I can't load because of this.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

You are correct, the import stock list feature does not support this character.
The only way to load this instrument is to do so in the Instrument Manager.
Click NEW under the isntrument search field. Use "Default" as the exchange and "HM-B.ST" as the mapping next to "Yahoo" in the Misc Tab.

I will send a suggestion to development to allow these characters in a future release.

Any feedback from development when this annoying and for several timeconsuming fault can be fixed ?

Unfortunately there is no ETA yet. We have it on our list of future considerations though.

Turned back to Ninjatrader to check competivness and DL'd latest version (6.5.1000.14)., but still no fix for this small and very irritating limitation.
          No ETA ?

              There is a workaround

This helped me to load those hyphenated stocks:

While you can't import it you can at least manually add it to the list!
