    Store Real Time Data?

    Still confused about this setting.

I use one (1) 5 minute and one (1) tick chart, do I need this option checked?

    Does it matter?

    Hello VinnyB,

If you make use of a data feed that supports historical data we recommend to disable this option. When this option is enabled, incoming real-time chart and Market Analyzer data will be saved on your PC for future data requests.

      I've often wondered...

I have this option disabled, yet when I am not connected to Zen Fire, I can still see data on my historical charts, so obviously it is being stored somewhere locally.

      Can you explain?

        Hi Mike,

Could it be the option was enabled for the times you see historical data on your charts?

Please see the link below as well regarding the internal cache NinjaTrader maintains as per prior accessed data.
