Workspace Layout not saving

    Workspace Layout not saving

    Greetings,

    Using NinjaTrader 6.5. The workspaces I set up and save do not load correctly at the next NinjaTrader startup. All the windows open, but they are piled up on top of each other and not layed out on the screen as they were when the workspace was saved.

    Can anyone advise a solution?

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum!

    This indicates that your workspace has become corrupted. I suggest recreating the layout of the workspace in a new workspace.

    Please let me know if this does the trick for you.

      Hi Kyle, that was quick response, thanks.

      I tried creating new workspaces. The one that is open when I shut down NT opens when I open NT, but the charts and dom's etc stack on top of each other.

      When I shut down NT, it asks me if I want to save the layout, regardless of whether I have just saved it or not. So for now its not working. Any other suggestions? I have been testing NT for about 3 weeks now, the same issue has occurred with all layouts, right from the start.

        Thank you for your reply.

        I suggest that you delete the Default.XML file from the following folder, re-create your workspace and save it. Then restart NinjaTrader and see if the issue persists.

        My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Workspaces

            Can you please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Kyle" in the subject line? Please include your trace and log files in the message.
