ninjatrader does not send the orders to tws

    ninjatrader does not send the orders to tws

    Hi, I just purchase the ninjatrader, I follow the instructions for IB conection, but ninjatrader do not send the orders to tws. What happened here?

    Thank you for your post.

    1.) Please make sure you are on the latest version of NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.10. You can check under Help --> About.
    If not, please download from this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/do...g_software.htm

    2.) Please make sure you are using the supported version of TWS, 892. If not please install from here: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

          Unfortunately NinjaTrader does NOT support the "latest version" of TWS. It MUST be 892.

          Once you have TWS 892, please make sure that you have a green "connected" box in the lower left hand corner of NinjaTrader after connecting.
          -If yes, do you receive data in the Control Center for any instruments?

          Also, you must have purchased a LIVE license from NinjaTrader to send trades to TWS, do you have this?

            Yes, I have a live license.
            Where I can find that tws version? I do not see that version on the IB web page for download.

              -In TWS, go to Help --> About Trader's Workstation. It should be listed near the bottom.

              -Correct, this version is only available from the NinjaTrader site.

                    TWS 892 installed, but still not working. The connected box is green, and data and strategies work on ninjatrader only, but the orders doesnt go to tws.

                      Ok, can you send in your trace and log files by going to Help --> Mail to Support within NinjaTrader? Put Attn: Ray Stein in the subject and include a link to this thread.
