Hello jcook,
Can you please tell me how much data you merged.
Please try the merge one month at a time.
Merge first the month June (of 06-09) in the 09-09 contract. Check if the 09-09 contains the merged data. Subsequently add the month May and so on.
I tested it on my end and merged 3/11 - 6/10 at once, but it only merged the March month into the 09-09 contract.
I tested again with a smaller amount and this worked.JasonNinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello Jason,
I tried merging one month at a time just as you posted here.
Data from ES 06 09 May 11 to June 11 merged to ES 09 09.
On a 15000 constant volume bar chart I adjusted the data format to display the last 30 days (just to make sure I got all the data).
NT makes a mess out of the data.
Chart begins on May 14 (I adjusted the data properties to display the last 30 days only).
May 14th to May 15th plots OK.
May 18th is one single bar.
May 19th until May 22nd is the only week that plots OK.
May 25th until May 27th plots OK, however I am missing May 28th and May 29th from that week.
Week June 1st to June 5th is missing.
Week June 8th to June 11th is missing.
June 12th is plotted.
Hard to tell why would NT do something like this.
I can’t even imagine how to recreate a data merge that would yield such results.
I look forward to your suggestions.
Thanks
AQ

I loaded 1500 tick charts instead of volume charts and the merge worked and displays well for the volume charts now.
