gData - software for intraday data

    hi guys,
i have built a small application that downloads intraday backfill data from google. the data can be customized so that it can be imported to various charting applications including Ninja Trader.

As there are very few data applications for Ninja, i hope my application will fill this gap to some extent. This is particularly true for non US market where practically no ninja support (for data).

    more details here http://www.volumedigger.com/Software...ownloader.aspx

    read the help files here

theres also a small video tutorial on how to format the data for ninja
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pQvbGd8A-A

    feedback will be highly appreciated.

    Great program. Thanks man.

This simple URL works for US stocks (if you want to script by yourself).

Do a copy paste as direct clicking does not work.

Nice contribution, though hopefully it will soon be unnecessary as NT7 supports Google as a data provider.

What I find really exciting is that in NT7 will allow users to create routines to import custom data. Forget MetaStock, I personally can't wait to import MetaTrader data into NT. If memory serves me correctly its very easy to find MT forex data going back into the 90's!

Its too bad the beta release has been delayed, otherwise there would likely be more user created content ready for the official release...

thanks. ya if NT7 has all the feature it would be really gr8.

NT is a gr8 platform. sadly connectivity restriction till now has prevented users from non-US markets from harnessing its full potential. manual import still has its limitations but then something is better than nothing.

hope folks at NT do think about non-US markets too.

from my experience, NT7 can only plot daily charts, not intraday charts. but google does provide intraday day back fill data.

Hello. I'm complete a newbie in NT. I like so much this platform, but I've been having some problems with date in Bovespa (Brazilian market, I'm Brazilian). How can I get data's intra-day( 60' ) to bovespa stocks using yahoo and datadownloander?

Can i use during the the day, or only end of day a get the data in the interval that I want?

                  thanks regards

                    Hi,

What is the symbol for the Brazilian exchange? I'm not sure if this exchange is supported with us.

In addition, Yahoo provides only EOD for equities to us. During the day you will see the data from yesterday and beyond.

See here for instructions on how to create an account connection for Yahoo:

Brazilian Exchange(São Paulo City) is SAO, I saw on yahoo finance.

I already use yahoo connection in NT. but I think that using gdata I get intra-day data for Brazilian STocks

                        rgmmelo,

                        Thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately, this is not a supported exchange within the software currently. I will forward a request for the addition of SAO on to my development team for further consideration.
