draw tools, only work sometimes

this is bizarre, though I'm pretty much a rookie at NT.

on ES 06/09 all these drawing tools, vertical/horiz lines, arrows,
rectangles, etc.... worked just fine, not matter where my bar charts
were scrolled or compressed.

now since I changed to ES 09/09, the insertion of drawing tools
(text, arrows, lines, etc....) ONLY works when the chart is pressed
up against the right hand margin.

If I scroll the chart to the left or compressed the y axis, nothing
gets inserted. unless maybe I recompressed the y axis a bit.
but basically, it wants to be align on the right margin to allow me
to use these drawing tools.

what happened, it was working so nicely for weeks ??

I am not able to reproduce this behaivor using the ES 09-09.

Can you take a screenshot?

Also, right click on your drawing object to select its properties. Do you have "Auto scale" checked?

I don't know where exactly this "auto scale" property is, can you be more specific ?

a screen shot would just show the candlesticks , right justified to the right margin.
I like to uncompressed the bars, but because of my issue, they're all clumped to
right margin.

but now I've noticed I can spread the chart away from the right margin,
and use the drawing tools,
if I move it no farther than about 40% (left to right on horizontal axis).
so if my data starts at about half way across the window (50% point), I
can add indicators. but if I start the data at 33% across, no drawing figures
will appear. 40% is my guesstimate on where the problem begins.

maybe because I have no historical data yet, since just used this rollover
ES 09-09 symbol, which haven't used before.

I can live with this this way. but doesn't seem optimal.

MACD crossover

I am trying to construct a simple automated trading system. I want the system to buy when the Macd crosses above the Average.


CrossAbove(MACD(12,26,9), MACD(12,26,9)Avg,1)

this code does not work.

I also want to sell when the Average crosses below the MACD.

The cross over instruction is faulty. Request your assistance to fix it.
