    Ninja Version 6.5.1000.11 - Urgent

    Dear Support Team,
    I just install version 1000.11, previous version is 1000.9. When I run, it encounter error in compiling custom assemblies. It does not happen on 1000.9 before. I open workspace and found my indicators (from ninja support forum) is not plotted. So I try re-importing relevant indicators again. But it stops me, saying the programming errors must be resolved first. But I have not even selected a ninja indicator scripts to import ?!
    I then tried to remove custom assemblies, it says remove failed, programming errrors must be resolved first before removing ninja script assembly.

    Please help, I cannot trade without those custom indicators.
    Also if all else failed how do I roll back to previous version ?

    Thank you for your note.

    Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling the indicator. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC. If you are wondering why you receive an error when compiling only one indicator, it is because NinjaTrader compiles all indicators and strategies- not just one.
    • Open NinjaTrader
    • From the Control Center select the Tools menu--> select the Edit NinjaScript menu item--> select Indicator
    • Select an indicator and double click on it.
    • A new window will appear and you will need to right click in the window and select Compile to compile the indicators.
    • At the bottom of the window a new section will appear were you can find the error locations.
    • From there you have the option to remove the indicator or debug it.

      Hello Kyle,

      Done with one indicator, it say metadata in ninja bin directory "NinjaTrader.core.dll" and "WilsonORMapper.dl" cannot be found. Error code CS0006, there is no context based help on this one.

      Tried another indicator and the errors are the same.

      How do I resolve this?

        Thank you for your reply.

        Please right click in the NinjaScript editor and select References. Remove any references to those items. Then, re-add the references using the following paths and recompile.

        Core:
        C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\NinjaTrader.Core.dll

        WilsonORMapper:
        C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\WilsonORMapper.dll

          Hello Kyle,

          I check again.
          My computer setup is such that, I have C drive for system, F drive for most program files. But my trading software are all installed on C drive. Ninja program runs. But the errors refer to ninja bin directory in F drive, which of course non-existent.
          Why does it refer to F drive now, when it was ok on 1000.9 ?

          How do I resolve this ?

            Hi Edward,

            You will need to delete re-map the references to where ever those files exist on your PC. I was providing an example from a typical installation.

              Sorry, I sent my previous post not having seen your reply.
              I change the references as suggested and it works.

              Does that means, I need to change on all custom indicators?
