    Why lots are lagging behind?

    Please refer the attached image

I took 50 lots and did a trade @ 510.0. But system accepted only 1 lot at 510.0 and rest at 509.8.

And in similar way when i closed my trade. It has a gap of one pip.

Please clear my doubts why this is happening.

    Thanks in advance

The TF? I don't think TF has enough volume to take 50 lot trades at one price. You may have to switch to the ES.

sunilkumarsaini, whether you trade live or on the simulator this is commonly referred to as a partial fill, as your order was too big in quantity to be filled at one clip.

On the simlulator you can try checking 'enforce immediate fills' to avoid this situation - although this may be of value to you as our simulation engine tries to give you a realistic approximation what you can expect trading this on a live market - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ulatorTab.html

What eDanny has written in this thread is correct?

          Hi sunilkumarsaini,

          Thank you for your post.

It would be best to check this on your end to see what you find. Either way, the instructions that NinjaTrader_Bertrand offered in his previous reply are a great way to overcome any limitation of this nature. (in simulation, of course.)

Let me add that while I like the partial fills....

....the presentation of them on the graphs are horrible. I get one "purchase" symbol, for example, with the fills below. Nice.

Any idea how messy that gets for an active trader with larger lots?

What about showing an average THERE Purchase, 33@44,1257 on the chart means only having ONE item, instead of a ton of individual fills. You can always show the details as a popup when the mouse button rests on the purchase.

I do 8-10 lot trading in YM, and at times it seems that I get 7-9 different fills, and - most at the same price. Just for some reason Ninja insists on cluttering up my chart with useless information.

NetTecture, thanks for the suggestions - fills are displayed as executions are coming in - have you tried setting the 'Trade visualization' to 'MarkersOnly' in the chart properties (double click on the chart)?

Not tried yet, will today. But I doubt it helps. I actually like the idea of seeing the price.

Just not for every stupid single 1 lot fill separately. And with markers only I then dont get the details I want again This can only be fixed by your programmers.

Thanks NetTecture, I'll forward your ideas - true the 'MarketsOnly' would loose unfortunately some details.
