    Problem to start the NinjaTrader Platform

    Dear friends,
    Do someone can help me?
    For the last 30 days +/-, every morning I have problem to start the platform. It opens, but do not download the charts (data) from IB.

    Hello barrosco,

    Can you please confirm the lower left corner of the Control Center states 'Connected - *connection name*' in green.

    Please right click in the chart and select 'Reload Historical Data' and check if the requested data is loaded.

      No success

      Dear Jason,
      Thank you for your answer.
      In the left corner below I can read "Connected - Interactive Brokers", but I right clicked on the chart and chose "Reload Historical Data" without success.

        Can you please tell me what instrument and interval is selected in the chart.

        Note that historical tick data is not supported with IB.

          Instruments

          Jason,
          I have four charts for "6E 09-09", with 30, 10, 5 and 2 minutes intervals that do not open and one chart with "ZN 09-09" with range4 opened.

            Try the following. Restart NinjaTrader and close the workspace that contains your charts. Connect to IB.

            Subsequently open your workspace and check if all charts load with data.

            If not, please repeat the above, but do not open the workspace, but chart by chart and check if they contain the desired data.

              Maybe the range4 was the problem

              Dear Jason,
              Now I got the four 6E charts but the ZN range4 did not open.
              Thank you for your help. But there is some bug(s), because before these 30 days I did not have this kind of problem. It can be in my PC too.

                Do you mean there was no chart opened at all? Or did it open, but it did not display any data?

                Do you receive real-time data in the ZN range chart? Note that historical range data is created by historical tick data.

                What happens if you try to create the ZN chart again via File-->New-->Chart?

                  Hi Jason,
                  Now I had a problem when a tried to chance the instrument.
                  The charts open, but with no data, and appeared a window saying "there was a problem and NinjaTrader must be closed"

                  Now I restarted the PC and it is OK.
