Barchart.com $TICX
Hi there, my $TICX, the NYSE tick is not printing properly. It will not print a negative value. It only prints above zero. I called barchart and they said it was working correctly on their end and had a value of -200 and mine was just stuck at 0. Is there a way to correct this in the instrument manager?

Thank you for your post.
Can you please tell me what your mapping is for the ^TICK index.
You can find this by going to Tools --> Instrument Manager --> Search for TICK index --> Edit --> Misc tab.

barchart.com uses TICX as the net TICK with 0 a the base. That's what I can't get to print. Try mapping that and see what happens. $TICX.

Thank you!
We have reports that the data sent by BarChart is not showing these values as discussed in this thread: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=9165

nyse tick with NT+barchart
Hello Bertrand,
I checked with Barchart prior to inquiring on the NT forum.
They have two versions of the NYSE TICK:
1. $TICK, with zero value adjusted to 10000
The $TICK plots all values in Ninja Trader, albeit artifically adjusted by +10000.
2. $TICX, unadjusted, displaying the value as intended, above and below the zero axis.
The $TICX does not print any value below zero in NinjaTrader.
As might be imagined, I would prefer to see the correct value at a glance, rather than constantly doing the mental arithmetic on the adjusted version.
I suggest a Ninja Trader programmer liase with a Barchart counterpart to fix the problem. Even better would be for NinjaTrader to program and make available a real-time calculation of the NYSE TICK, as well as the S&P 500 Index to circumvernt the clumsy data put forth by OPRA-CBOE-ADP.
Please let me know what can be done.
Thanks, BillM
