    Ninja Trader reporting trades not taken?

    I am trying to get ahold of Velocity, I think this is a NT reporting issue. I made a trade yesterday and I think it is reporting the same trade today, the price for entry and exit are the same. Also the ID # for the sell is the same for both days and so is the buy? Do you guys have any ideas on this? BTW the execution time for both the buy and sell today is the same to the second which is hard to believe since I doubt the market moved 2 full ER pts. in the same second? I am running NT 5 lastest rev.

    Where are you seeing the order reported? Is it in the NT Orders tab?

    What is the status of the order?

    If you close NT and restart the software, does the order still appear?

    If yes, let's do the following.

    Sendus an email into support atninjatrader dot com with yourtrace and log files and we may further investigate.

    To do this, go toHelp > Mail to support and ensure that 'Zip and Attach Trace and log files is checked'.

    You may place 'Attn: Ryan' in the subject line.

    Also, in case you have concerns that you may still be in a trade, please contact your broker's help desk for immediate assistance in cancelling any orders.

      I will do that Ryan, broker said I am flat, trade erroneous, so ok, but I would like an explanaton from NT. I will send the log.

        Dan,

        No need for furtherinvestigation.

        There is a known issue with the TT Fix adapterby where they replay prior orders and report this. I have not seen it for some time but it generally happened when the TT FA server reset at the end of the trading session. TT is aware of this.

        In addition, there are additional known limitations when it comes to position reporting when carrying overnight positions. We pop up a disclaimer stating this limitation when creating a TT account connection. TT has just released a new FA version that is currently in beta that addresses this. Once they are out of beta we will update NT to take advantage of this welcomed capability.
