Order Handling question?

using the NT DLL method + TS8.6 to issue buy/sell signals, if I place a limit order to buy (working order) and it does not get filled by the end of the trading session, and then it gets automatically cancelled by MF Global broker due to brokers servers being recycled every day, when the session re-starts again, and i call orderstatus, will i get a "cancelled" return for the previous limit order that was cancelled due to not being filled by end of session. Note that MF Global broker does not support GTC orders.

Or will calling OrderStatus return an empty string as NT platform has been restarted?

When do I use these two features please.Is it to retainmy work in total onmy pc so that wheni reload ninjatrader there is no loss or workspace?

any tricks to using it?

If you leave NT running the whole time along with your TS all active you should receive the Cancelled state.

Backup and Restore saves and restores your NinjaTrader settings, files, and things like that.
