    YM symbol. NinjaTrader data server does not support this instrument, no data availabl

    Hi,
    I can't get the chart for YM to display. I get the message "Error on loading chart data for 'YM 09-09 ECBot'. NinjaTrader data server does not support this instrument, no data available.".

    I am using NinjaTrader with Zenfire and the symbol has been defined as YM against zenfire correctly in Instrument Manager/Symbol Map.

    Please can anyone help.

    Hello SuperDriveGuy,

    Please enable the Globex exchange and disable the ECBot exchange in the Instrument Manager as per the YM.


    Let me know if the error message persists and tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed. You can check this at Help-->About.

      I thought the YM symbol was at CBOT, but anyways it works now.

      My NT version is 6.5.1000.8.

        Great to hear it worked.

        In addition, I suggest to download and install our latest version (6.5.1000.11) on top of your current version at the link below as well.

          Thanks again, Jason. I will install this latest version. But will it install over my existing installation? Will I have to create the connection to the brokers again? Will I lose my custom strategies/symbols and indicators?

          Appreciate you quick responses.

            It will install on top of your current installation, but it will not affect your settings or data you saved.
