MBT problem with charts connection.

I have integrated MBT Navigator with Ninja Trader on a Demo account. The first day it worked fine but next day, althought it connected, as shown at the left bottom of the Control Panel, the charts were not connected at all.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall both programs but it remains the same: the charts are not firing.
Any advice?

Thank you for the post.

What instrument are you trying to view?
What is the interval of the chart you are trying to view?
If you check that same instrument in the Control Center do you see a bid, ask and last price?
If you check the log tab are there any errors?

-----EUR/USD, GBP/USD and USD/CAN

What is the interval of the chart you are trying to view?
-----I have tried: 1m, 5min and 15m as well as 100 range chart

If you check that same instrument in the Control Center do you see a bid, ask and last price?
-----It says "n/a" for all values and all currency pairs

If you check the log tab are there any errors?
-----No errors, it says connected to: "perm server", "quote server (demo01)", "order server"
-----And "Unable to recover orders/executions for instruments.........since provider does not support these...

Anything else?

Hi Carlos,

Can you open a chart for another instrument such as the ES 09-09 and tell me if you are receiving data?

Then can you go to Tools-->Instrument Manager? In that screen is a field that reads Type, and when you click on that dropdown do you see currency listed as an option?

I tried ES 09 and SPY
No luck: charts are blank and Control centre is n/a

The MB Trading Navigator that opens at the same time as Ninja Trader is functioning normally: data was and is streaming

I check the instrument manager -- Type -- and Currency is NOT listed as an option.
However the Navigator windows does have currency pairs listed and were streaming.

Hi Carlos,

I'm going to have development look into this issue. I see with all instruments that there is an issue with receiving data, and that it appears to be larger than simply an individual connection issue. I will reply again tomorrow morning when I have heard back from development.

I think I know what the problem is - The MBT Navigator DEMO WAS NOT FOR FOREX (although it shows all the currency pairs) . I am now setting up the proper demo

The problem was that I had the wrong DEMO. Somehow I had a demo for stock, futures and options. I contacted MBT and they gave me the correct link and account. I installed it in a new folder and now there is proper integration. The control panel has the values for the 4 currencies I trade and the charts are plotting data and the chart trader has the Ask and Bid values.
The reason it worked the first day was that I used the MBT link in the NT connections webpage. It looks like, for some reason, next day I downloaded and installed again from the MBT main webpage (newer version?) and there, the links to the proper MBTforex download are incorrect. I tested MBT webpage again and it leads you to the Stock and futures version.
