draw horizontal line on High/Low on previous day's specific time period

Is there indicator/script to draw horizontal line on High/Low on previous day's specific time period?

For example: high/low within 9:30 to 4:00 from previous day, then draw it on today's chart.

    thanks.

    Hello MoreYummy,

    Thank you for your post.

You may apply the previous day Open, High, Low and Close indicator to your chart which will plot on the current trading day. The indicator is listed as PriorDayOHLC within your indicators list.

If you would like it to only show information from 9:30-4:00 you would need to adjust your Session begins and ends time to reflect this time within the chart properties.

I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Chart Properties.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      Hi,

      thanks for tips.

Im currently using that indicator already, but I want to show both high/low during normal session and high/low of the whole 24 hours as well.

Is there a way to modify it to put in some time restriction?

        Hi MoreYmmy,

This is possible but would require custom programming. If you yourself are not a programmer, any of the NinjaScript consultants listed at the following link could code this project for you:

Also you may want to post within the NinjaScript section of the support forum to see if other users may have some input on this subject.

These pivot indicators should display what you need

          Hi MoreYummy,

You can use the Pivot indicators here, which include prior day open, high, low and close.

CMIPivotsDailyV73 and CMIPivotsDailyDashV73 will do the job. To display the lines correctly, set the session times via indicator panel and leave the chart session from 0:00 to 0:00. Also set all lines that you do not want to display to transparent, so they do not bother you.

You may install the same indicator several times and each time choose a different session. Thus you can display

          - open, high, low, close, midline and pivots of the prior electronic session
          - open, high, low, close, midline and pivots of the prior day session
          - high, low and midline of the night session
          - high, low and midline of the first hour of after the market opened

          or whatsoever.....

              Hello,

I just imported it twice, without success.

After Importation, it says successfully imported. But when I look for it inside indicator, I dont see SessionPivot.

Any idea? Could it be not compatible or some other NT issue?

              Thanks.

There are seven indicators called CMIDailyPivotsV73, CMIWeeeklyPivotsV73, CMIMonthlyPivotsV73, CMIDailyPivotsDashV73, CMICurrentDayOHL, CMICurrentWeekOHL, CMICurrentMonthOHL. CMIDailyPivotsV73 is preconfigured for the 24-hour-session, CMIDailyPivotsDashV73 is preconfigured for the day session and would plot high, low and close in dashed lines. You can extend the lines to the left and plot the labels on the right side.

CMIPivots is a NT 6.5. indicator, so it will not load into NT 7. For NT 7.0.0.22. use the SessionPivots indicators in the NT7 download section.
