when it asked for a percentage I thought it meant 1 would = 1% instead of 100%

Thank you for your post.
What mode are you using for your trailing stop? If you have it set to price, it enters your stop literally at the price of $.02. That is why it never triggers.
Try using mode ticks/percent instead. For percent .01 = 1%.

Setting Trailing Stop
Hi,
Created a simple moving average strategy and I cannot seem to get the trailing stop to work when a backtest. When I enterlong I used a signal name "long" and when I enter short I use signal name short. When I set a trailing stop of $.02 I referance the signal names and set simulated to "true".
