Need simpler way to type text on chart -- proposal

I annote my charts a lot...

It would be good if I could simply start typing the text on the screen without opening and closing a dialog box.

What if there were an optional method, configurable of course, that if a person started typing it would automatically open a text entry on the screen where the cursor was. The Escape key could be used to exit the text entry mode.

Then, if you wanted to change the text you could click on the text and it would reopen the text entry.

The text would actually be in a box with a visible border. The shape of that box could be box could be changed by dragging the border of the box.

The text inside the box would wrap within the box.

If a person wanted to change the font or color of the box , or the borders or background of the box, they would double click on the border, and THEN a dialog box would come up that allowed those changes.

Yes that would much preferred to the the way typing in chart now tries to change instruments. PLEASE at least allow us to disable that! Again today I thought I was typing in a chat and instead ended up losing all my real time indicators in a chart. So annoying!
