Upgrade to 6.5.1000.12 Not Working

    Upgrade to 6.5.1000.12 Not Working

    Ninja keeps nagging about a new upgrade.

    So I clicked the button and downloaded and installed the file.

    I was running version 6.5.1000.10 and the install upgraded to 6.5.1000.12.

    I am using Vista with .Net SP 3.51
    I have had no issues with Ninja Trader version 6.5.1000.10.

    After the upgrade, any workspace with T&S and/or Super Dom will not populate with data.
    Prior to the upgrade there were no issues.

    I would like to go back to version 10. I don't see a link to this version on the site.

    How can I completely uninstall version 12 and reinstall version 10.

    I just noticed that the Super Dom and the Chart Trader appear NOT to be in Global Sim mode. They both are colored the LIVE trading color rather than the Simulation Color that is normally selected.

    This seems to be more serious than I first thought since now I am unsure about trading under these conditions.

      re-installing, previous installation

      I used C-Cleaner to remove the new version. I then downloaded and re-installed the previous version from the NT download page (after entering my license). It installed okay, but once I restored my NT backup, I again keep getting the error message: "NinjaTrader has detected a problem..."

        Please send us an email from Help--> Mail to support and refer to this post. Logs and Traces will be automatically attached so we can take a look what happened.

            Vince,

            I decided the best route was to restore an off-site backup of NinjaTrader to this PC.

            I restored the Program Files and My Documents folders and have recovered all the lost indicators and settings.

            I'm sure glad I keep current backups.

              Hello,

              I am also having a lot of problems after upgrading to 6.5.1000.12 and I would like to revert to 6.5.1000.10 since I have had a lot of problems with the upgrade and I am not satisfied how this version is working.

              Could you please send me a link to download 6.5.1000.10 and the associated TWS version ?

                Hi,

                This is not possible as wel don't have this version available anymore.

                What I suggest is to send a note with your logs and traces to support. You can send it from Help--Mail to support and it will be automatically attached.

                Please refer to this post as well when you send the note.
