Trading ICE instruments?

Per our list (http://ampfutures.com/margins_ninjazen.html), you are able to
trade Cocoa, Cotton No.2, Coffee, Frozen OJ, and Sugar No. 11.

I can't get any of these on NT, I get an error when trying to populate the chart.
Using -> ampfutures and zen-fire

funk101, thanks for the post, I'm getting data for example successfully on ZenFire for the CC 09-09 using the Nybot exchange in the setup - can you please try resetting instruments (Tools > Options > Misc), restarting NinjaTrader and rechecking if you can get the data?

On another thought: Have you confirmed with your broker that you account is also enabled for the ICE products you mentioned?

Similar setup, ie. NT7 and amp. I get quotes for KC but no historical data.

naxo, which NT7 version do you run here? Have you tried my prior advise of resetting instruments and then rechecking? With a ZenFire map of KC and using the Nybot exchange you should get access.

Also: which broker technology are you using with AMP?

I have NT 7.0.1000.1.
also doesnt work after resetting instruments.

Naxo, thanks for the reply - are you using a ZenFire or TT based account connection here?

Im using Zenfire, tested mirus also but didnt work there either.

Can you please check the set mapping for ZenFire in your NT instrument manager - ensure this is set to KC and that you've added the KC 03-11 instrument with the NyBot exchange selected to your instrument list - then retry on a clean chart without any indicators added.

Yep, those are right. Still getting realtime price but not historical.

Just noticed I get this days historical data in seconds but not minutes, however it doesnt go back further than this day.

naxo79, can you please upgrade to our latest NT7 R2 release and then recheck if you're able to get the data? If not please contact us via Help > Mail to Support and include your diagnostic trace / log files, if you add your phone # we can take a remote look as well to help getting setup.

Updating here in case others are wondering the same:

Ninjatrader servers dont have the historical data for some of the softs, so need to get it from kinetick or similar.

I still have trouble with KC and CC markets. I reset the instruments and the CC rollover dates seem fine but cannot chart it. And KC rollover dates seem wrong.

Any one trading those markets with IB and NT 7.0 will give me any insight?

IB or ZF only provide real-time data for the instruments.
The historical minute data is fetched from NT's servers.

So, as I wrote in my previous post, NT servers dont have the data for these certain softs and you need to get it from another source.

If you find a good one let me know

With Kinetick I ran into different problems with order of connection and fetching real-time data and historical and submitting orders to the right place so it wasnt very easy to get going with.
