Chart trader closing options

Hello,

If a strategy ,with trailing steps and all kind of whistles has a 30 pips take profit and I want to make it 20 during the trade.Ninja doesn't listen to this.I must move my stop loss in the price action in order to close the trade.

Am I doing something wrong ?

I have made a strategy with 20 sl 35 tp.

Then in the stop strategy I have choose custom and made the following settings

step 1 15 1 15

step 2 10 1 20

step 3 3 1 30

So when an order with this setings trigger and try to move the tp it doesnt listen.

I have to move the stop loss near to price action in order to close the order.

Do you mean, once you modified the profit target, is not visible in the SuperDOM or ChartTrader anymore?

If so, please tell me what data feed provider you are connected to in NinjaTrader.

Or do you expect the profit target to be modified as well by the stop strategy?

I expect the take profit to modified as the stop loss.

The take profit is visible ,platform doesnt execute the new modified take profit.

Unfortunately, profit targets will not be modified as per stop strategies; only stop losses will.

Which is the quickest way to close the whole order with one click ?

I have notice that close or from control panel it closes partially the order.

Eg if you sell 500.000 it close only 1 k.

The only way I have found is to move sl with chart trader close to price action but i loose 2-3 pips on the way.

The quickest method is the close button.
However, this does not guarantee that the order will not be filled in parts.
