IB and Ninja Order Params

Good Morning:

I am a new IB and Ninja Trader User. I have NT 6.5.1000.12 and TWS 895.3

I entered an limit order off a chart for a buy of 1250 shares and received the error



Ok, so I found the stock order defaults panel, and modified the parameter for the share maxium.



But later on I noticed that the rejected order was still active in the API order managment tab of TWS but showed rejected on Ninja. It never was triggered as SSO didn't pullback to the limit price. So I deleted it and found the following parameter



I have several questions.

1. Is there any reason to leave "Reuse Rejected Order" checked if I plan to only eneter trades through NT? It was a default from the install setup.

2. Is there a list of other params that I might need to modify to avoid potential conflicts?

My needs are basically that I want to trade off the chart with Ninja for stocks and futures. I have figured out how to exit or close orders from TWS. but my goal is to do all trading off NT.

Thank you for your post.

1.) There is no need to leave this option enabled.

2.) Aside from the items listed in our connection guide (http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm), we have no additional recommendations for settings configuration on the TWS side.
