Export to Excel Trades Details from Instrument Lists

    Hi,

I've done some back testing from instrument list. The instrument list contains many master instruments.

How can I export to excel in one click all trades within the instrument list? It is not practical to export separately master instrument trades, when you have lots of master instruments.

    Thanks.

mdhanafi68, please do a basket test on the instrument list - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...asketTest.html

Then right click on one instrument in the results screen after backtesting and select 'Export to Excel', it should export the full basket test results then in one click.

      Thanks NinjaTrader_Bertrand.

Sorry, may be I post my question wrongly. Yes, I did basket test. My problem is how to extract to excel all instrument trades details results in one click (which is under Trades tab for each instrument)?

I see, thanks for clarifying, unfortunately this is not supported.

I would like to recommend this feature in future release. It's really helpful in individual trades analysis.

          Thanks.

              Export to Excel

              Hi ,
How do I export the data to Excel without creating new file every time ?
It should name the file. NT doesn't give me choice to name the export data or find existent file in Excel.

Welcome to our forums jzezula, unfortunately this is not supported. You would need to amend the existing file as needed.

                    Hello Bertrand,

I have not found any updated posts regarding this topic. Is there now a way after testing all instruments in the S&P 500 I can export individual trade data without manually clicking on each instrument and trades tab? I understand deep portfolio analysis is not supported, but if there is a way to export all trades I would be able to do this myself through Access.

                    Thanks!

Hi Scott, unfortunately you would still need to export the individual trades manually, what you could do in our new NT7 is exporting all the performance summaries including the combined results via a right click into Excel.
