Forex data spikes from MBTrading data feed
Here and there I have very large bars on several Forex charts. The account connection is with MBTrading and the server type is live. An example of a large bar is on an hourly chart of EURGBP on 9/11 at 4pm. The high of that bar is .87471 and the low is .8305. I contacted MBTrading and they explained the large bar size as price spikes which occur when they run beta tests on some of their charts. The MB Navigator version is 11.3.0.4. MBTrading emailed me to follow-up with NT to see what you do when you incur a bad data feed and/or data spike. These data spikes are causing my strategy to behave in undesirable ways. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.Tags: None

Hi tradervick,
Thank you for your post.
To minimize the impact of future data spikes, I would suggest enabling real-time tick filtering.
