    Hello hogarstrasni,

Are you referring to Time and Sales data with 'footprint history'?

If so, yes it will function the same as it does now.

            Several different issues -

            - In NT7, do we store historical bid/ask data and can we access it from a broker/market data provider that can provide it? --> Yes

            - Do any indicators that currently use real-time bid/ask data in NT6.5 be able to use historical bid/ask data so that when you restart, these indicators do not start from scratch? --> For NinjaTrader system indicators, NO, they will operate the same as in 6.5, for 3rd party indicators such as FinAlg, you will have to check with them.

My question was about the problem I found in FINALG specification about saving Bid/ask volume data (see below)

                4. Important Note
MARKET BALANCE operates within the real-time NinjaTrader environment.
NinjaTrader does not save price Bid/Ask volume data to its database, therefore this
history is not accessible for MARKET BALANCE to load.
                So, MARKET BALANCE
also functions on real-time data and does not plot any values for historical data. Data
will only be captured within MARKET BALANCE when NinjaTrader is open and
                connected to a real-time feed.
This also means that if any chart interval or indicator parameter (except as
mentioned below in 6. Features > Selection Methods) is changed, then any
accumulated real-time plots will be lost.
It is suggested, that after experimentation to

get the desired MARKET BALANCE parameter setup, a template is saved

P.Q Is it gone be solve in NT7 (saving bid/ask data)

                  - Do we save --> Yes
                  - Will 3rd party indicators/strategies utilize this --> Please ask them

I actually did ask FinAlg and they said they do not because NT doesn't support this in 6.5. Why is it so hard to add historical tick data along with millisecond precision?

I suggest to check the forum thread at the link below regarding millisecond time stamps.

                          Hello rocky9281,

                          Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately, eSignal does not offer historical bid and ask data to NinjaTrader.
