Connect 10001 Error

    Connect 10001 Error

    Hello,

    when i want connect to zenfire i become the message "Unable to login (10001)". Firewall and virus scanner do not exist. I have specially new-installed Windows. But Ninjatrader does not connect with Zenfire.

    Can someone help?

    Hi Silvio, can you please try to sync your PC clock, reboot and then reconnect to ZenFire?

        Silvio, thanks - is this a demo or live account you try logon to?

        Please try to delete the connection under Tools > Account connections and then repair the database after this under Tools > Options > Misc.

        Then recreate the connection fresh with this guide ( http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_ZenFire.htm ) and try to connect again.

          no live or demo broker connection

            Hello,


            i have made. Zen-Fire is a Demo Account. No connect. Error 10001, 2nd 10004.

            The system is Windows 2003 Server. Must be special Services on for NinjaTrader?

              Silvio, if this is a demo account, most likely it's expired then, best is to contact your broker who issued you the logins and discuss your options.

                some quick info, my pc time was set to Chicago im in Australia. after setting the pc time to my local time i was able to log in to zenfire, dont know if it is coincidence or not but worked.


                i have set my pc time now back to Chicago time and the zenfire connection still works.

                I dont know why it would matter but might be worth a try

                  Thanks for the tip bologc, did you also sync it with an internet time server or just change the time zone?

                    just changed the time zone in windows to my local time and that seem to do the trick.



                    since that i have set my time zone back to CST chicago and the connection works fine
