    chart not loading

    I'm getting a very strange problem trying to open a chart.

    I have created a symbol and I'm importing the data. Then when I open that chart and all is fine.

    I have another chart that I use live data from zenfire, and that opens fine when it is the only chart.

    But When I connect to zenfire and open the chart, then try to open the chart for the symbol I created I get a message box that says "loading data , this process can not be aborted" and it never comes back.

    Is there something I have to do to have a live chart running with zenfire and also a user defined symbol chart open at the same time.

    I tried deleting the symbol data the repairing the datbase and importing, but always the same message and never loading while connected to zenfire.

    If I disconnect from zenfire then I can open the symbol chart.

    Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello mikeytrader,

    Can you please tell me what instrument and interval is selected in the chart.

    Do you receive real-time data in the Control Center when you select the same instrument?

      the zenfire symbol I use is ES 12-09 5min, it works fine by itself, the live data is in the chart and the control center.

      But when I try to open my user created symbol ES1AAA 07-09 5 min while connected to zenfire, both charts go blank and I get the loading message for the ES1AAA 07-09 and it never ends, I have to kill ninja.

      If I do not connect to zenfire, then I can open both charts.

      I want the zenfire chart to be live and my user symbol chart to just have the data I imported into it.

        I see. Unfortunately this is not possible. NinjaTrader will try to retrieve data for this unknown instrument from Zen-Fire.

          could I put in a request that there be a switch on a symbol so that it doesn't try to get live data for a user defined symbol
