how to save default workspace without quitting

Hi

in order to alleviate problems with NT6.5 using around 50% of CPU and freezing up during market hours, I read that you recommend to only use the default workspace.

How do you save the default workspace without quitting the software ? This can be done when using our own workspace but I dont see the option when using default workspace ...

The reason I ask the question is to be able to save the present workspace as default before NT goes into another CPU spike and freeze up forcing me to kill the process without having the opportunity to save the default workspace.

You may save your Default Workspace at any time by going to File-->Workspaces-->Save Workspace

Can I copy my present workspace and rename it default.xml so I dont have to recreate it when switching to default workspace ?

Please use the steps I have provided below.

• Close all workspaces except for Default within NinjaTrader
• Exit NinjaTrader
• Documents
• NinjaTrader 6.5
• Workspaces
• Right mouse click on your Default Workspace
• Delete
• Right mouse click on your other Workspace
• Rename
• Name this workspace Default
• Click Enter
• Restart NinjaTrader
