    BIG ESignal problem!

    Hello,

    since last week I'm unable to connect to the ESignal data manager. It's not a problem of the level 2 or the news host.

    It has to be a server problem of ESignal because I completly reinstalled my system(Vista) but it still won't work. In the last months I had asolutly no problems to connect to ESignal but since a few days nothing will work.

    Anybody here has the same problem ?

    Hello easyfresh3000,

    Can you please tell me what happens when you connect to eSignal; do you receive an error message?

    I am able to connect to eSignal on my end.

    I suggest to recreate your eSignal connection in NinjaTrader and check if this will make a difference.

      I try this maybe ten times but nothing changed.

      When I start the ESignal data manager he says no reception and no password. When I wait 5 to 10 minutes I become connected.
      When I then start Ninja Trader and try to connect nothing happens. I wait ten minutes and then Ninja says unable to connect to daily host.

      I check all usernames and passwords but they are all ok. So it can't be a problem of Ninja Trader. ESignal has changed something in the data manager since the last update (1721a) and now nothing work correctly.

      I have two computer for trading. One with Vista the other with XP. XP works fine but Vista and the new ESignal update not work on my system.

        Can you convert back to the old eSignal Data Manager?

        Where am I able to download and install this last update?

        In addition, what happens if you connect to eSignal while the Data Manager is initially closed?

          I try to install a older version of ESignal but it seems they changed something on their server because nothing changed with the older version.

          When I first start Ninja and try to connect nothing changed. I really try everything but it really seems to be a problem with ESignal.

            I installed the latest eSignal software and I experienced the issue initially as well.

            I subsequently closed NinjaTrader and the Data Manager. I opened the eSignal software and closed it.

            When I started NinjaTrader and connected to eSignal, I was able to connect again.

            Can you please try the same on your end and check if you can get connected.

                    Hello easyfresh3000,

                    Can you please send me an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com including your eSignal username and password, so I can test your connection on my end.

                    Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.
