    workspace issues

    Hello Admin

    Frequently, when I have multiple workspaces open, and I navigate from one to another (Control Center/File/Workspace) I will attempt to bring into view one that appears on the dropdown menu. The problem that I experience is that the selected workspace will not come to view, but only the main window for the control center. It's almost as though the window (workspace) may be hidden behind another...but when I minimize anything else that is open, I still cannot locate that workspace. typically, I will have to go back and rebuild that workspace because even when I close the workspace and/or close down Ninja and reopen, I encounter the same.

    thoughts?

    Could the following have happened?

    Upon closing down the software, you closed all windows part of the workspace. Subsequently when prompted to save your workspace, you clicked Yes or Yes to all. This caused your workspace to save without any of the windows, since they are closed.

      thanks for the reply.

      This happens without exiting the application. As stated previously, if I navigate to another workspace and then attempt to return...the view may not be present.

        How long do you wait? It could it take some time to load that workspace back on your monitor again.

        Do you see its windows listed in the Windows task bar when you navigate back to the initial workspace?

          I have waited several minutes. The button (window) will appear on the task bar... that's kind of how it all starts. And then I will click the button it will do nothing (I'll wait 2,3,5 min, etc...). I navigate away from the workspace and return to it to sometimes find that the button is not there...or when it is I cannot open the view (click the button and it yields no response).

            Thank you for your reply.

            It is possible that the workspace is corrupted.
            Please take the following steps:

            Shut down NinjaTrader.
            Open the My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Workspaces folder.
            Create a new folder within the workspaces folder.
            Transfer all files from the workspaces folder in to the new folder.
            Restart NinjaTrader.

            After restarting, add charts to the new default workspace.
            Next, create a new workspace (File > Workspaces > New Workspace) and add a chart.

            Finally, try cycling between the workspaces (SHIFT + F3) and let me know if the issue persists.
