draw horizontal high/low of a turning point on chart

    Hi,

Is there an indicator would draw horizontal line when it turns?

"turns" means when a bar keep going up, then when next bar is NOT up bar, then draw a horizontal line at the highest point of either these 2 bars.
Vice versa for down bar end, if next bar is UP bar, then draw horizontal line at the lowest point of these 2 bars.

If no one has used something like this, let me know.

It sounds like not too hard to program it in indicator scripts. Do you think you can do it with wizard, since im not very familiar with ninjatrader script's language.

    Thanks.

    Try this!

You can take the NinjaTrader Zigzag indicator, then just modify it a bit, so it does not draw a zig and a zag but horizontal lines instead. Just a small modification.

I am having trouble getting zig zag to work with EURUSD where it works fine with ES.
I get a notice with EURUSD "zigzag cannot plot any values since the deviation value is too large. Please reduce it" It is set at 0.5 and I change it to 0.4 to 0 and still it does not plot. Any help greatly appreciated. The setting when using ES is 0.5
