    failed to verify license

    Hello,
    after having installed NT 6.5 I keep having this message 'failed to verify license', meaning the server could not be reached.
    I have disabled my firewall and anti-virus program and reinstalled it
    but nothing has changed.
    what I can do more ?

    The error indicates NinjaTrader cannot connect to its license server to verify the license you have entered. Make sure the license is entered correctly. Please check for software such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software that could be blocking NinjaTrader. In some cases the modem/router has built-in software that prevents the connection to be established.

    NinjaTrader itself connects to standard web address via HTTP protocol through whatever port is defined for internet browsing on the target PC (Port 80 by default) to connect to its license server.

      hello jason,
      when i enter my license key in NT ->help->license key=>the back door you entered is invalid.
      The license key is the one I recieved 2 days ago, and the problem was not solved even when I was valid, saying that NT could reached server.
      As far as firewall, spyware and anti-virus I had them all disabled but still won't work. My modem/router has not built-in firewall software, as far as I know (orange livebox).
      Concerning HTTP protocol this is something I'm not confortable with, I'm not a computer expert. Sorry.
      I have used quite a lot of support platforms and it was always going well. I can't understand why this one does won't work. This is very unfortunate as I really would like to use this one.

        There must be something on your end that prevents NinjaTrader to connect to its license server. The license server itself is running fine.

        I suggest to contact your modem/router vendor to see if it contains built-in firewall software that might be blocking port 80.

        In addition, do you perhaps have another PC you can test NinjaTrader?

          I don't have another computer.
          NT is allowed to access through firewall.
          My router has no building firewall or anti-virus software.
          Port 80 is opened for NT.

              unable to use NT6.5

              Am I the only one having this problem ?
              An invalid registration key ! Can't blame my software, a developper
              could not do anything. The problem comes from the key, not vista,
              internet nor whatever firewall.
