Retrieving a workspace

Hello-

It seems that frequently when I attempt to open a saved workspace, the workspace will not open. The menu will show the presence of the workspace, but when I attempt to open nothing happens. it's as if I did not even attempt to open.

I have to rebuild the space multiple times and would like to know firstly, what may be causing this to occur? And can I retrieve that workspace in some other manner if it will not open through the control center?

Could the following have happened?

Upon closing down the software, you closed all windows part of the workspace. Subsequently when prompted to save your workspace, you clicked Yes or Yes to all. This caused your workspace to save without any of the windows, since they are closed.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't believe so Jason. Generally I will do file/workspaces/save workspace. File/workspaces/close workspace. (I will close them down one by one saving any changes that I make to them).

Is there a way to recover?

Hello always4nu,

If you open the workspace and it opens (workspace name is reflected in the upper right corner of the Control Center), but without any windows, unfortunately it is not possible to recover the workspace.

However, if you saved a backup file that contains your workspaces, you can restore that backup file to access your workspaces.
