missing data

this morning i'm missing data when i do the historical export data.

cant get overnight from 23:00 the 13 oct to 8am this morning.

is it IB the problem or is it NJ? how can i solve that problem?

im not loading a chart

i went into the control center - tools- historrical data export - data series 2009-10-13 to 2009-10-14 bar type min for default es 12-09

using ib simulated trading account (but usually even with the sim account i dont get that trouble)

i get a 20091013 235900; 1078.5......
and then it jump to 20091014 085500; 1083.75.....

Unfortunately IB does not provide historical data for Demo accounts therefore the only data that will be available will be the data that was stored while connected.

I have provided a link below to the data providers supported by NinjaTrader. This page will go over the types of data they offer as well as the instruments they support.

it is a live account

if i ask for a date prior to 13 it works.

if i ask from oct 8 i get the minute data for overnights 9,12 and 13, its only for tonight i can get the data.

sorry i dont think im gonna do that

but there's somekind of trouble, i dont know what it is.

i hope its not related to those anoying updates of microsoft net framework i did this morning.

i can get a 1 minute chart and the overnight appear but for somekind of reason i just can get that overnight time frame when i use the hist data tool.

by the way if i do reload in hist data what will be the consequence?

Hello frankduc,

You may right mouse click within your chart and choose Reload Historical Data. This will retrieve available historical data from your provider and will reload your chart.

its kind of strange maybe you should think to fix that.

When you try to refresh a volume chart clicking reload its impossible cause the feature stay grey.

You switch to 60 minutes chart and you can reload the chart and recover missing data.

But i cant understand why it wouldnt be possible to produce a volume chart with overnight data using already gathered minute data?

oh well think about it.....maybe i was not so clear.

Unfortunately IB does not provide historical tick data at this time within NinjaTrader so you will not have the ability to reload historical data when viewing a Tick, Range, Volume or Second chart.
