Hi all,

rastotrader, welcome to the forums! Correct this is expected for backtesting (using the bid price), in realtime forward testing you would see the current bid / ask used - just include then the spread as slippage in your backtesting settings to gauge system quality then.BertrandNinjaTrader Customer Service

Bertrand thank you for the welcome, your answer is not good for me. When I use the sleep, the result will be correct?. How then Set.Profit.Target kept in reeal market, profit calculated price plus profit, or net profit?

I understand that the sleep model before the backtest. I wonder how Set.Profit.Target actually works. Calculating the real difference between profit or Average.Price + ProfitTarget only.

Sorry I am still not quite following you. SetProfitTarget() works by adding to your average entry price whatever target amount you defined out. If you wanted a 10% target, you get 10% on top of your entry price. If you wanted 10 tick target, you get 10 ticks on top.Josh P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
