SPI Contract in Ninja with eSignal

    Hi,

I am having trouble getting live data from eSignal for the SPI contract on the Sydney Futures Exchange. eSignal claims everything is fine on their end.

The code they gave me for the December contract is "APS Z9-SFE"

I tried this and other variations in the Instrument Manager mapping for eSignal with no luck.

I am getting other data (stocks & US futures) via eSignal in NT just can't get this contract.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you

I'm using an Esignal feed for historical data and I use the symbol APS|SFE to give 24 hour data. AP|SFE gives just the day session.

Thanks Treggs. I tried this and no luck. Anyone else able to get this working?

      Cheers

Not sure how you are using Esignal but my set up uses a pats live feed from MFG and an esignal history feed (that fills charts on request, not live).

Here are a couple of screen dumps showing my instrument setup.

        Hope it helps.

Excellent that did it. I noticed my SPI setting did not have the SFE and Snfe checked under exchanges. Not sure if that's what did it but data is streaming through now. Many thanks.

BTW if it's ok I would like to find out about how you like trading the SPI using MF Global using PATS. I'll send you a PM.

          Thanks again.

Just an idea for the next release of NT7. Could we please have the default Esignal setting in the instrument manager set to APS|SFE please as I have shown this fix to numerous people? The new session manager does a good job of showing just the day session if people want just the day session data. Will help reduce confusion imo. Thanks Mods.
